If you’re looking to tape a conversation or meeting, the Pro USB flash drive is hard to beat. Flash drives are incredibly common pretty much everywhere you go, and this one has an audio recorder built-in.

When you have the Pro USB out in the open, it can hear conversations taking place up to 25 feet away. If you’re going somewhere and want to put it in your pocket, it’ll pickup the entire conversation without the sound quality dropping. The audio is surprisingly clear - there’s no noise, and voices are easy to understand.

Voice activation is the greatest benefit of all - it’ll only record when sound is detected. This means you can set it down somewhere and it’ll record your conversations without you having to worry about it. You'll need that feature if you don’t know when a conversation will take place - the last thing you want is to be caught unexpectedly and you forget to record.

You get 24 hours of continuous battery life with the USB Pro, but it can last up to 25 days if you have voice activation turned on. The battery recharges when you have it connected to your computer. When you want to hear what you recorded, just open your recordings in Quicktime or Windows Media Player.

Do whatever you want with your files - send them so someone, burn them to a disk, or save it to your computer. When you have a recording you don’t want anymore, just right-click and delete it.

How It Works

On the back of the USB drive, there’s a switch for power. When you flip the switch, the voice recorder turns on and starts recording everything nearby. When you’re done recording, flip the switch to turn it off.

To hear the audio recording you just made, plug it into your computer - a folder on the flash drive will automatically open. Your taped conversations will be inside that folder.

Each time you turn the power on, a new file is made. When you turn it off, that audio file is saved. So, if you talk to 3 different people, and you turn the power on 3 times, there will be 3 files. That makes it so easy to keep your conversations organized. There is even support for date and time-stamping on Windows PCs.

The drive can store up to 288 hours of audio, so you don’t have to worry about running out of space. If you need to delete the files, just drag them to your trash can.

What is the order cutoff time?

Orders placed Monday through Friday before 5:30pm Eastern/2:30pm Pacific are shipped out the same day.

Orders placed after this cutoff time are shipped the next business day.


How do I get free ground shipping?

Every order gets free and fast UPS ground shipping. Over 90% of our customers get their order within 4 days.


Do you offer 2-day or overnight delivery?

Absolutely, we have these options at checkout. You’ll just need to place your order before the 5:30pm Eastern cutoff time, otherwise it’ll be sent the next business day.

  • Overnight - $39.99

Where do you ship to?

We can ship to any address in the USA. This includes homes, apartments, businesses, and private mailboxes.

We can also deliver to PO and APO mailboxes, but cannot guarantee 2-day and overnight deliveries will get there on time as USPS doesn’t guarantee these services.

If you would like something shipped internationally, our clients outside the USA seem to like MyUS.com as a low-cost method of having packages forwarded.

Please be aware of any international tariffs you might be charged.


What shipping carriers do you use?

We use a combination of UPS and USPS for our free ground shipping options, and FedEx for our 2-day and overnight methods.

What does the package look like? Does it say SpyGuy?

All orders ship in discreet, plain, brown or white envelopes and boxes.

The shipping label doesn’t say SpyGuy, of course! It says ‘Fulfillment Center’ and has the return address of the fulfillment center. The package contents aren’t listed on the packaging.

If you do an online search for the fulfillment center’s address, it doesn't return anything related to SpyGuy.


I want this sent somewhere else, is that okay?

We understand some clients don’t want this sent to their home or business, and that’s fine. Just give us the full shipping address you want this sent.

Make sure you also add the billing address, which is tied to your credit card or other payment method, otherwise your payment might get refused.


How can I track my order once it has been shipped?

You’ll be emailed a tracking number as soon as your order has shipped.

How do you listen to the recordings?

Connect the Pro USB drive to your computer and open it with Quicktime or Windows Media Player.

Will this work on both Mac and PC?

Yes, you can connect the Pro USB to your Mac or PC and use it to playback and save files. You can also program date and time stamp.

How do I turn on voice activation?

Simply turn the dial on the back of the USB drive to use sound activation, and turn it the opposite way for continuous recording.

Are there any blinking lights or sounds?

No, this product doesn't have a speaker built into it and cannot make sounds. There is a tiny hole in the side of the product that has an LED in it to charging status, but it's only on when plugged into a computer.

Can I store other files on this, like a regular USB drive?

Yes, absolutely. It'll hold all types of regular files in addition to your recordings.
